After showing their remarkable Fall 2014 collection back in January, Lanvin releases their men’s Pre-Fall 2014 Lookbook and again, do not disappoint. Featuring the brand’s signature “inventive sophistication” as I like to call it, the Pre-Fall 2014 collection features all of the codes that Lucas Ossendrijver and Alber Elbaz have brought to the houses menswear division, and definitely hit them right on the nail. It’s a fairly colorful collection, with a wide range, another signature we are used to seeing from Lanvin. A few casual pieces with a few dressier pieces, everything is perfectly executed and put together.

Mr. Porter’s feature Richard Haines in STYLE SPOTTER: TOKYO

 In their latest issue, Mr. Porter commision New York based artist Richard Haines to create exclusive sketches for their STYLE SPOTTER segment. For this issues segment, the focus turns to Tokyo. In it, he illustrates GQ Japan Deputy Editor Toshiaki Ishii, Takafumi Kawasaki- contributor of L’Uomo Vogue, and Motofumi “Poggy” Kogi- Director of United Arrows & Sons amongst others. Marni “Animal House” Installation at Salone Del Mobile 2014

   Take a look at Marni’s installation at Salone Del Mobile, working together with craftsman to create one of a kind animal inspired furniture. The colorful metal pieces are an extension of the houses codes, both quirky and abstract. These metal wire animals, are lined up throughout the space in Viale Umbria 42.

Nendo for COS istallation at Salone Del Mobile 2014

   Nendo and COS collaborated on an installation at Salon Del Mobile in Milan. The brand featured white button downs as canvas, which are hung among steel frames which represent Nendo’s “rational design approach”. The shirts are color blocked in gradient black and grey, and signature a change of the white shirt in time.

This season he has teamed up with Daniel Sannwald, which features what looks like a computerized horizon.

 Givenchy gives us a look at their Spring/Summer 2014 footwear collection. The footwear collection features all black and white sneakers, with premium leather, as well the floral pattern that we’ve come to know and love from the French fashion house. The pattern is more vibrant and bold from the black and white colorways. We also are given a vibrant camouflage pattern sandal, in a orange, navy blue and brown. It’s both sporty and elegant.

KRISVANASSCHE Spring/Summer 2014 Croc Skin Accessories

    Here is a look at the Spring/Summer 2014 crocodile skin collection from KRISVANASSCHE. The collection from Kris Van Assche’s eponymous label features croc skin accessories, with a purse, card holder, coin pouch, all given the croc embossed white skin treatment. It’s a beautiful looking skin, and stays true to the designers signature aesthetic of minimalism and refinement. The accessories are now available at the HB store as well as select retailers.
